Talking about beach tourism is endless. The choice of tourism for the beach is indeed chosen by most people because the value is more efficient and not complicated. Pulau Pasir is also often called the gosong island by the Belitung community. When the water is receding mound or stretch of sand will appear to the surface so that a small island will be formed with a stretch of white sand. At high tide, almost all the expanse and the mound sink under the sea.

Therefore, this tourist attraction is named Pasir Island which has a size of about half of the soccer field. There is nothing else that you will find on Pulau Pasir, besides a pile of white sand with a smooth texture. When the coastal waters recede, Pulau Pasir is often visited by visitors to take a trip called island hopping. This activity is unique because it is done using traditional fishing boats.

You will be invited to explore some interesting spots around Pulau Pasir. When carrying out these activities, you can witness the enchanting beauty of the beautiful scenery because of its location on several islands such as the island of Sengkuas, sailing rocks, islands and bird islands. While the distance to reach the nearby islands is only separated by sea water as high as adult waist when sea water recedes.

When you visit Pulau Pasir, one thing cannot be missed. Don’t be reluctant to throw yourself on the beach side which is more precisely located on the north side of Pulau Pasir. On the side of the island you will feel clear water with a not too shallow depth, also at the bottom there is only sloping white sand.

You can see at the bottom of the spot to be able to watch sea animals living on Pasir Island. One of the animals that you can meet is a large starfish spread in the waters around the location. When you see these animals appear on the surface many do not miss to take pictures with these unique marine animals. Although unique, you are forbidden to bring home the starfish.

Especially for the collection or for sale. After being satisfied to see these sea animals, it is expected to return them back to their original place. Preferably, you should not allow the animal to stay too long in the air, because the starfish can die due to lack of water.
